Enrollment Terms and Definitions
Anticipated Graduation Date (AGD) – the date a student expects to graduate. May also be referred to as Expected Graduation Date.
Full time (FT) – An enrollment status indicating the student is carrying a full academic courseload, as determined by the school.
Graduated (G) – An enrollment status indicating the student completed the program of study and received a certificate, diploma, or degree.
Last date of attendance (LDA) – The last day a student was physically present in class, as confirmed by the student’s attendance records. An LDA may also be referred to as the out of school date (OSD).
Leave of absence (LOA) – An approved break in enrollment, not including a regularly scheduled semester break of spring break, that is requested by the student and approved by thes chool. The student’s request must be in writing and must include the reason for the leave. An LOA cannot exceed 180 days in any 12-month period.
Less than half time (LTH) – An enrollment status indicating the student is carrying less than a half-time academic courseload, as determined by the school. Students who are less than half time are not eligible to borrow FFEL Program loans.
Out of school date (OSD) – The date the student ceases to be enrolled at least half time. An OSD may also be referred to as the last date of attendance (LDA).
Withdrawn (W) – An enrollment status indicating the student left school without completing the program of study.
