Kathryn Swan
Kathryn Swan currently serves as chair of the CBHE. She is president and owner of JCS/TEL-LINK, a small wireless communications company based in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Swan is involved in numerous professional organizations as well as community groups. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chair of the Leadership Council of the NFIB and member of the Education Council Administrative Committee of the Missouri Chamber.
Swan is committed to community involvement, having served in a membership or leadership role in over 20 organizations and committees. Her work in the community includes serving on the board of the United Way of Southeast Missouri, as a member of the Cape Girardeau Planning & Zoning Commissioner, and in leadership roles within the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce. In addition she serves as Lieutenant Governor-elect of District 7 Zonta Club International.
Governor Blunt reappointed Swan to serve a second term on the CBHE in February 2005. Swan earned an associate of arts and bachelor of science degrees in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University.
