Department of Higher Education Will Relocate to Jefferson Building
Jefferson City - Offices of the Missouri Department of Higher Education will relocate to the Jefferson Building at 205 Jefferson Street in downtown Jefferson City on Nov. 1, 2010.
Offices for the 64-member staff have been located in a leased building at 3515 Amazonas in west Jefferson City since 1996. The move to a state-owned building will save more than $300,000 annually in rent and utilities.
