Receiving Student Loan Money

Your school will deliver your student loan funds to you in at least two disbursements, scheduled according to the school's payment periods. Your school will first apply your loan funds to any outstanding school charges. If you have a credit balance after paying the outstanding school charges, your school will pay the credit balance to you (or to your parent if the credit balance is from parent PLUS Loan funds).
